Health, economic and spiritual factors of living vegetarian and a half day of vegetarian cooking and eating

One day course Saturday the 26th of April
at THELIFE Centre, Barr road, Rossinver, Co. Leitrim

During this one day course we like to examine the differences in a vegetarian or meat centred diet from the perspective of health, global use of resources, ethical and spiritual factors. During the second part of the course we will do vegetarian whole food cooking and eating.

 

We discuss questions like:

  • Do vegetarians get enough high quality protein and how?
  • How meat overconsumption is related to degenerative disease
  • The importance of life energy in food
  • Raw or cooked food
  • Food as medicine
  • Environmental aspects of meat production versus grain and vegetable production
  • Vegetarianism and world religions

We will discuss all the important aspects you need to know if you like to live healthy as a vegetarian. We also briefly discuss vegan and raw food diets, ayurvedic nutrition and Chinese 5 elements. The course material consists of actual research and ancient wisdom.

Information about the Course instructor
